Steven Horne is a Registered Herbalist and past president and board member of the American Herbalists Guild (AHG), where he currently serves as Board Chair. He has also served on the board of the International Iridology Practitioner’s Association and is a Certified Comprehensive Iridologist and Iridology Instructor.
He is currently working on the Scientific Advisory Board for Nature’s Sunshine Products and has helped formulate products for several companies. He is the coauthor, along with Thomas Easley, of the popular medicine-making guide, Modern Herbal Dispensatory, and has published an extensive guide to natural healing, Strategies for Health. He has produced numerous books, courses, charts, and other educational materials to teach people about herbs and natural remedies, and has lectured throughout the United States and Canada.
Steven became interested in medicinal herbs 55 years ago as a teenager studying outdoor survival and has been consulting with people about their health and teaching herbal medicine and natural healing full-time for over 40 years. He is currently the Managing Member of Steven Horne Creations, LLC, which produces educational materials on herbs, aromatherapy, flower essences, nutrition, and other aspects of natural healing.
