IIPA Certification Examinations

IIPA offers several Certification Examinations designed to support professional standards and educational excellence within the fields of Iridology and Sclerology.

Examination Fee

  • All IIPA Certification Examinations: $200

  • All Examination Retests: $75

After your Examination payment has been received, the IIPA Central Office will contact you by email with information regarding the Examination process. Please scroll down to see information on Examination access and time limits, as well as our open-book policy, requirements for passing, and retesting information.

Examination Access & Time Limits

Once your Examination link has been sent:

  • You will have up to one (1) week to access the online Examination site.

  • You will have four (4) hours to complete any full Certification Examination.

  • You will have two (2) hours to complete any Examination Retest.

Open-Book Examination Policy

Students are permitted to use:

  • Class textbooks

  • Personal class notes

during all Certification Examinations and Retests.

Examination Scoring & Certification Requirements

Each section of the Examination is graded individually.

To successfully pass the Examination and receive certification:

  • Every section must be passed individually.

  • A passing score of 80% or higher is required for each section.

Instructor Certification Requirements

Students pursuing IIPA Instructor Certification in Iridology or Sclerology must achieve:

  • 90% or higher on each section of the Examination.

Retesting Information

If a passing score is not achieved on a section:

  • That section may be retested at a later date.

  • Students are permitted up to two (2) retest attempts per section.

If a student is unsuccessful after two retests:

  • An additional three (3) months of study in the field will be required before testing again.
