Harri Wolf has a long history in the field of iridology and played an important role in the early development of the organization known today as the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA). In 1982, Harri Wolf and Bill Caradonna founded the National Iridology Research Association (NIRA), which was established to advance iridology research and education and published a monthly iridology journal. Harri served as the organization's first President.
As NIRA grew and evolved, the organization eventually became the International Iridology Research Association (IIRA) and later the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA), expanding its mission to encompass practitioners, certification, standards, education, and research.
Harri has presented lectures and workshops throughout the USA, Europe, and Canada. While retired from clinical practice, he is still engaged in consulting, education, and research.
Most recently, Harri, an award-winning songwriter, is exploring a long-standing vision of translating the visible patterns of the human iris into musical form. His current work examines sectional views of the iris and maps visible iris surface data and imagery across a musical timeline.
Working collaboratively with technology and systems expertise, Harri is also exploring three-dimensional ocular reconstruction as a means of adding depth to traditional surface images. The project seeks to translate three-dimensional and volumetric iris structures into music, based on the premise that every unique iris pattern may carry its own unique musical expression.

Their exploratory project maps iris surface data and imagery across a musical timeline while also investigating three-dimensional ocular reconstruction. By adding depth to surface imagery, their goal is to explore musical translations of three-dimensional and volumetric iris structures.
The concept proposes that each unique three-dimensional iris pattern may have its own unique musical expression, opening an intriguing new avenue for exploring the iris through data, pattern, technology, and sound.
