Dr. Sheryl Strom has earned doctorates in Natural, Bioenergetic, and Sacred Medicine from the Institute of Bioenergetic Medicine (IBEM). She graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is board certified in Natural Medicine through the American Naturopathic Medical Association and in Holistic Nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
A Certified Comprehensive Iridologist Level III and Certified Instructor with the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA), Dr. Sheryl serves on the IIPA Board of Directors and was honored as IIPA's 2025 Iridologist of the Year in recognition of her dedication to advancing the profession through research, education, and service.
Dr. Sheryl is also an Acudetox Specialist and Instructor with the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). Since 2012, she has served as Clinical Advisor and Iridology Instructor for doctoral students at the Institute of Bioenergetic Medicine, representing IIPA while helping educate the next generation of natural health practitioners.
With a passion for integrative healthcare, Dr. Sheryl combines nursing, natural medicine, iridology, and bioenergetic principles to empower practitioners and individuals with practical tools for achieving optimal health and wellness.

Iridology-Guided Auricular Therapy: Enhancing Clinical Outcomes Through Bioenergetic Assessment
Iridology offers a unique, non-invasive method for understanding the body’s bioenergetic reflex responses and identifying patterns that can help guide patient care. This presentation explores how practitioners can use observations in the iris (and sclera) to inform and enhance auricular therapy treatments, creating a more individualized and effective approach to wellness.
Drawing on the work of iridology pioneers and supported by real-world case studies, Dr. Sheryl will demonstrate how integrating iridology with auricular therapy as a drugless, non-invasive tool can strengthen clinical decision-making, improve client outcomes, and empower practitioners in their practice.
