History

Founded in 1982 as the National Iridology Research Association (NIRA), the organization was renamed the International Iridology Practitioners Association (IIPA) in 2000 to better reflect its growing international presence and global community of practitioners, educators, and students. In 1993, IIPA attained non-profit tax-exempt status and continues to be guided by experienced volunteer members serving on the Board of Directors who help support education, professional development, and standards within the field of Iridology.

What is IIPA?

The International Iridology Practitioners Association is the leading accrediting body for Iridology in the world. IIPA is an organization for the Iridologist. Through IIPA, individuals can access relevant, up-to-date Iridology education informed by clinical research and educational contributions from around the globe.
