Symposium 2007
The “Learn it Today, Use it Tomorrow,” theme provided practical, useful material that could be used immediately by those attending. This year, we heard three presenters open the Symposium, each speaking on a different constitutional type by color and sharing how they do their analysis. Saturday’s sessions included presentations on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and other Similar Syndromes; Diabetes and Other Metabolic Disorders; Advanced Case Studies and Iris Techniques for Iridologists; Cardiovascular Challenges and a dynamic, hands on presentation with Iris Phototherapy. Our annual “Meet the Pros” Sessions rounded out the Symposium on Sunday with attendees able to select from ten “Pro” presenters in the roundtable format.
We give special thanks to all our vendors who participated in the 2007 Symposium. We had a great variety of products and services this year that relate specifically to iridology, as well as those that complement our health practices. And we thank each person who attended the Symposium this year. CD’s and DVD’s from our 2007 Symposium, as well as the 2006 Symposium, are available for purchase from Backcountry Productions by calling 303-530-3153 or by email at Watersink@aol.com. Order forms can be downloaded from our Order Form page. You may also order these from our Central Office as well. -article by Cheryl Matschek, M.S., M.H., Ph.D., C.C.I.I. |

The 2007 International Iridology Practitioners Association Symposium, held June 8-10 at the Alexis Park Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, was a success according to feedback received from many in attendance. Longstanding friendships were renewed and new ones made during our time together. It is exciting to gather together with others of like mind who are working to increase their knowledge, sharpen their skills and come away better able to serve their clients.
Closing ceremonies included raffle draws donated by our vendors, and was highlighted by the announcement and presentation of the Iridologist of the Year awarded to John Andrews of England. (See the upcoming IIPA Newsletter for an article on John).
